8.11. Installing the Network Scanner Module (DA-NS600)
8.11.1. Contents
Note:
1. The part number may differ depending on the Destination.
2. Refer to the Parts List in the Parts Manual.
8.11.2. Installation
CAUTION!
Turn the Power Switch on the Left Side and the Main Power Switch on the Back of the
machine to the OFF position, and then unplug the AC Power Cord before beginning
installation.

(1) Loosen 5 Screws.
(2) Remove the Rear Plate as illustrated.
(3) Install the Hardware Key into one of the three
available connectors (CN67, CN68 or CN69) on
the SC PC Board.
Note:
The connectors are keyed, to prevent damage to
the SC PC Board, install the Hardware Key as
illustrated. Do not force the Hardware Key into the
connector if facing the wrong way.
(4) Proceed with the installation of other options.
If finished, close and secure the Rear Plate and
reinstall remaining Covers.
(5) Plug the AC Power Cord into the wall outlet and
turn the Main Power Switch on the Back and the
Power Switch on the Left Side of the machine to
the ON position.
(6) Install the Panasonic-DMS Software into the PC
with the Operating Instructions by following the
prompts of the Installation Wizard.
