Basic Operations
Recording in the Fuil Auto Mode
The Full Auto Mode adjusts the white balance and focus
automatically. However, if you want, you can also adjust
either one or both of them manually. (-> 47,49)
1 Turn out the (POWER] Switch to turn the
Movie Camera on.
•The [CAMERA] Lamp © lights.
2 Confirm that the [AUTO] indication © is
displayed.
•The initial setting is [AUTO],
• If the [MNL], [ ^ ], [fc], [j], [0] or [gW]
Indication is displayed, press the [PROG. AE]
Button repeatedly until the [AUTO] Indication
appears.
3 insert a cassette with an intact erasure
prevention tab.
•The [PAUSE] Indication © appears.
4 Set [SPEED] on the [MAIN MENU] Menu to
the desired recording speed {[LP] or [SP]).
•The indication of the selected recording speed
appears.
5 Press the Recording Start/Stop Button to
start recording.
• Recording starts and the [t>>] Indication and the
[REC] Indication © appears. The Tally Lamp ©
on the front of the Movie Camera remains lit
during recording.
{[REC] means Recording.)
•The [gjjjjjg] Indication © also appears in the Multi Info
Window.
• During recording, it is not possible to change the
recording mode {[MNL], [ J* ], [fe], [;], [gj], [g*]),
even if you press the [PROG. AE] Button.
