Select a test pattern so that it is easy to make various adjustments.

4) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The selected test pattern is displayed and the menu screen is disappeared.
Note
f Press the <MENU> button to display the menu screen and select [Off] in [Test pattern] when you want to cancel displaying of
the test pattern.
[Network]
Perform network setting before using the network function.
[Network setting]
Perform the connection setting to use wired LAN. For wireless LAN setting, please refer to “When connecting via wireless
LAN”(x page 81).
1) Press as to select [Network].
2) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [Network] screen is displayed.
3) Press the <ENTER> button.
f The [Network setting] screen is displayed.
4) Press as to select an item, and change the setting according to the instructions.
[DHCP]
[On]:
If a DHCP server exists in the network to which the projector is connected,
the IP address will automatically be acquired.
[Off]:
If a DHCP server does not exist in the network to which the projector is
connected, additionally set [IP address], [Subnet] and [Gateway].
[IP address]
Enter the IP address if DHCP server is not used.
[Subnet]
Enter the subnet mask if DHCP server is not used.
[Gateway]
Enter the gateway address if DHCP server is not used.
[DNS]
Enter the DNS server address if DHCP server is not used.
5) Press as to select [Set], and press the <ENTER> button.
f The following settings are set before the projector leaves the factory.
[DHCP]
Off
[IP address]
192.168.1.100
[Subnet]
255.255.255.0
[Gateway]
192.168.1.1
[DNS]
192.168.1.1

f Before using the DHCP server, make sure the DHCP server is already functioning.
f Consult your network administrator regarding the IP address, Subnet and Gateway.
