Chapter 3: MEASURE MODE Settings
Taking ISO Sample
From the sampling display, press the
ENTER
key. After the initial delay, press
START/STOP
to conduct sampling at the first location.
ISO sampling typically requires sampling from multiple locations. Once the
sampling is completed at the first location, the query “NEXT POINT?” will be
posted. At this time the user presses arrow keys to select one of the following
alternatives:
NEXT POINT?
Pressing
ENTER
starts the unit sampling at the next location,
taking the same number of samples as at the current location.
FINISH?
Pressing
ENTER
concludes sampling, makes all ISO calculations,
and (if STR=Y) saves the ISO samples and calculations to memory.
CALCULATE?
Pressing
ENTER
calculates the Average, Standard Deviation,
and 95% Upper Confidence Limit for the samples already collected, and
displays the results for the 0.5 µm particles. Pressing
ENTER
again toggles to
display the results for 5.0 µm particles. Pressing
PREV
will return to “NEXT
POINT?”.
EDIT TIMES?
Pressing
ENTER
allows the user to change the number of
samples to be taken at the next location.
ERASE DATA?
Pressing
ENTER
erases the data from the most recent location
sampled.
