Chapter 4: DATA PROCESSING Settings
PRINT
This function prints one or more of the data records on the optional external
printer. The user can choose to print the following:
• All records
• A range of records—the user selects the first and last record to be printed. All
intermediate records will also be printed.
• A single record
NOTE:
If the printer has not been used before, its mode settings and serial
settings must be configured. See Chapter C, "Printer Setup".
To print from the HandiLaz Mini:

Connect the printer cable from the HandiLaz Mini to the printer.

Ensure that HandiLaz Mini communications setting is RS232C.

From the main MENU select DATA PROCESSING and press the
ENTER
key.

In the <DATA PROCESSING> menu, navigate to PRINT and press the
ENTER
key.
The following display will appear:
Example – Print records 2, 3, and 4:

From the <PRINT> display seen above, press the
ENTER
key until the cursor is
over the 1.

Use the down ▼ key to change the 1 to 2.

Press the
ENTER
key again, until the cursor moves over the 6.

Press the down ▼ key until the 6 changes to 4.
The <PRINT> function is now set to print records 2 through 4.

Press the
START
/
STOP
key. The printer will begin printing and stop when all
records in the range are printed.
