Chapter 4: DATA PROCESSING Settings
To select which record will be viewed first:

Press the
ENTER
key until the cursor moves to the digit position to be modified.

Press the up ▲ or down ▼ keys as needed to change the digit(s) to specify the
record which will be reviewed first.
Example – To view the 13th record first:

Press the
ENTER
key until the cursor moves over the second digit from the right.

Press the up key ▲, changing the zero to 1.

Press the
ENTER
key again to move the cursor over the right-most digit.

Press the up ▲ key until the 1 becomes 3.
5
Press the
START
/
STOP
key to open the 13th record.
NOTE:
In this example, trying to change any of the first three digits on the left
will cause the HandiLaz Mini to generate three rapid “beeps”, indicating an
error. The digits in those leading positions cannot be changed because there are
only 50 records. If 150 records were stored, the last two digits on the left would
be insignificant and therefore unchangeable.
To view records in sequence:

From any start position number, press the
START
/
STOP
key. The record number
indicated in the START line will open.

Press the up ▲ key to see the next higher record in order.
NOTE:
Holding the up or down key down causes the records to open in
sequence at about two records per second.
Display Example:

Date, Time
Number of particles ≥ 0.3 µm
