Fn15 – Miscellaneous options
Testing function for bill validator.
N Test inhibited.
Y First insert a test vend key, then the bills you wish to test. If the bills are
accepted, their value is displayed for three seconds.
Set this option when a key reader is connected.
N You can insert a key and then coins/bills to recharge the key (standard).
Coins/bills can be accepted with/without the key inserted, following the
parameters set in Fn00.
Y Keys cannot be recharged with cash (coins/bills are not accepted when a
key has been inserted – and viceversa).
N Cash credit is available until the timeout is over.
Y Cash credit is cancelled and stored as “overpay”.
N “Exact-Change” signal is transmitted to the VM (standard).
Y “Exact-Change” signal is not transmitted to the VM (no message is displayed
that the system won't give change).
N Residual credit is displayed for three minutes, then it is cancelled and stored
in Audit as “overpay”.
Y Residual credit is displayed without any time limit (no timeout).
N Free vends are always given during their time band ON (standard).
Y Free vends are only given after a key has been inserted.
Only valid with protocol BDV001.
N The 1

selection is no.1 (standard).
Y Valid for some BDV systems offering 100 selections (selection 0 = price 1;
selection 100 = price 99).
N Standard. Option inhibited.
Y The price is increased when paying with cash.
Enter price increase value for payments with cash (the same for all
prices).
N Coins can be ejected manually (standard).
Y Tube keypad inhibited.
N Standard. Setup from keypad enabled (escrow lever + B).
Y Setup from keypad inhibited.
N Standard. The number of coins in the tube is displayed while coins are being
ejected manually.
Y The number of coins in the tubes is not displayed.
