Maintenance
Cleaning coin validator
Coin chutes must be frequently cleaned to keep the system efficient and prevent dust or grease from building up
(dust might slow the coin run).
Be sure the changegiver is OFF before cleaning the selector.
Use a soft, damp cloth with water. Do NOT use solvents or aggressive detergents (degreasing fluids for PCB,
oils, benzene or trichloroethylene) that might damage plastic components.
Also avoid the use of ethyl or isopropyl alcohol.
Cleaning tube upper sensors
The optical sensors on the bottom of the coin validator (see fig.17) must be periodically cleaned.
Always use a soft damp cloth; blow away dust from the sensors with compressed air.
