How to fix Peplink Network Router FTP upload stalls?
E
Evan TaylorJul 26, 2025
If file transfers via FTP stall after a few kilobytes, the Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) or MSS setting may need adjustment. The default MTU is 1500. For most DSL users, it's recommended to use MTU 1492. If the problem persists, try smaller values (e.g., 1462, 1420, 1400) until the issue is resolved.

Why does Peplink Network Router always show the same IP address when refreshing?
M
Michele RichJul 31, 2025
If a website almost always returns the same IP address when you refresh, it's likely because the web server has enabled the “Keep Alive” function, maintaining the same TCP session. Try testing with a website that doesn't enable “Keep Alive,” such as http://www2.simflex.com/ip.shtml.

Why is Peplink Network Router outbound load only using one WAN connection?
T
Tanner RushAug 10, 2025
Outbound load is distributed evenly across WAN connections when multiple outbound connections are made. If only one user on the LAN has a single download session, the WAN connections may not be fully utilized. For single users, consider using download manager applications that can split files into pieces and download them simultaneously.

Why is my Peplink Network Router download speed still single link speed with FlashGet?

First, verify that all WAN connections are active. Next, ensure your download manager application is splitting the file into at least three parts. It's possible that multiple download sessions are being routed through the same link.
