No. 14: Calibration for Steering movement
These settings are used for measuring the steering angle.
* Press the CLEAR key and display parameter No. 14.
1. Install the steering angle sensor onto the vehicle and connect the sensor to the
LAPCOM unit. Verify that the “TEACH” indicator is flashing. The indicator mark is
on the right side. If “TEACH” is not flashing, the LAPCOM unit does not
recognize the sensor. Check the connection and turn the power off/on.
2. First, press and hold the SET key for 2 seconds when the steering wheel is
turned to the right.

3. If calibration was completed correctly, the sensor output lower limit value is
determined automatically and the indicator mark moves to the left side.
4. Press and hold the SET key for 2 seconds when the steering wheel is turned to
the left.
5. If calibration was completed correctly, the sensor output upper limit value is
automatically determined, and the screen automatically changes to the next
setting screen (parameter No. 15).
