INSTALLING THE CUSPIDOR
Installation manual
Use the installation pattern or plywood template and mark the positions of the attachment
holes.
NOTE When determining the dental unit’s position notice that the openings on the base frame
point to patient chair legrest. The direction of the cuspidor is not important during the
installation, only the base direction.
NOTE Dental unit with fixed base: the cuspidor installation position (right-handed/left-handed)
can be changed after the base is attached to the floor. Pay attention to this when deter-
mining the positions of the attachment holes. The cuspidor position change is de-
scribed in section 6.2 “Dental units with fixed base: Changing the cuspidor installation
position (right-handed/left-handed)”.
Drill 14 mm (0.55 in.) holes until the required depth of 55 mm (2.2 in.).
Clean the dust caused by the drilling from the holes with a vacuum cleaner or with pressure
air.
