13.Remove the four fasteners
1 (
retaining the intake
manifold to the engine and the one
2)
retaining the
bottom of the intake manifold to the transmission
bracket.
14.Raise and support the vehicle off the ground.
15.Remove both rear wheels.
16.Remove the bolts, washers and nuts securing the left
and right rear upper control arms to the chassis.
17.Pull the left and right rear drive shafts out of the
transmission and rotate the rear upper control arms
away from the vehicle.
NOTE
If the drive shafts are stuck in the transmission, use a
pry bar to carefully pry the joints out of the transmission.
18.Remove the front compartment center floorboard to
access the front gearcase.
