Running Belt Tension and Tracking Adjustment
About
This procedure provides instructions to adjust the running belt tension and tracking align-
ment to manufacturers specification on legacy and common frame configurations. The run-
ning belt tension and tracking should be adjusted anytime the running belt is
removed/reinstalled, replaced, or when there is any detectable belt or tracking issues.
There are two different frame weldment implementations, the original legacy frame and the
updated TRM
1
600/700/800 common frame introduced in 2019, see "TRM600/700/800
Common Frame Overview" on page286. Even though the take-up roller mount-
ing/adjustment mechanisms are different, the same common running belt tension adjust-
ment procedure is used. Any minor procedural steps that are unique to a specific frame will
be identified as such.
