This chapter describes the procedures used to convert a Mac le system (JHFS+) on Pegasus32 so it
can be used with a Windows operating system. And, how to convert a Windows le system (NTFS) on
Pegasus32 so it can be used with a Mac operating system.
The instruction in this chapter describe how to do the following:
• • Format Pegasus32 with NTFS for use with Windows
• • Format Pegasus32 with JHFS+ for use with Mac
WARNING
Converting the le system will erase the entire contents of the drives on
Pegasus32. All data currently on the hard drives will be lost.
Make sure you back up all data to another system before proceeding.
If your Pegasus32 is currently formatted with Windows NTFS:
• To use Promise Utility to reformat the drives with JHFS+.

• To use Mac Disk Utility to reformat the drives with JHFS+.
