11.3 Updating the ESC Firmware
When a new ESC rmware becomes available the user is informed via QBase.
1. Start QBase.
2. Select Updates and select Search Updates.
3. Select Download to start downloading the Firmware.
4. Select Update and conrm with Yes.
5. The ESC Firmware Update window opens.
6. Please follow the instructions in QBase.
When requested please select the downloaded ESC rmware in the User > Documents >
QBase > Firmware > ESC folder.
7. After the update please disconnect the battery from the UAV.
 In order to validate the update please follow the following four steps.
8. Connect the battery to power the UAV.
9. Connect the data link handheld or data link station to the tablet. The UAV connects to QBase automatically.
10. Select Updates and select Search Updates.
11. Please conrm that the detected version corresponds with the newest Version.
11.4 Updating the PDB Firmware
When a new PDB rmware becomes available the user is informed via QBase.
1. Unplug batteries and USB-cables from the aircraft.
2. Start QBase.
3. Select Updates.
4. Select “Firmware – Flash new UAV and PMB rmware”.
5. Please follow the instructions in QBase.
6. The update should start automatically.
7. Remove the USB-cable when the update process is nished.
