REMOTE CONTROL AND
DIAGNOSTICS APPLICATION
REMOTE OPERATION
Refer to the Section Control Remote 2.0 Quick Guide (P/N 016-0171-685) shipped in the section remote box for
Section Control Remote configuration and operation instructions.
DIAGNOSTICS APPLICATION OPERATION
This section provides information on the Remote Diagnostics Application (available on the Raven App store).
Hawkeye allows the user to control the system and perform diagnostics through a personal mobile device such as
a tablet or smart phone. The user can turn on and off boom sections, turn the pump on or off, and view real-time
system information for troubleshooting or demonstration purposes without having to leave the cab. A Bluetooth
low energy (BLE) compatible device is required.
The Remote Diagnostics Application is available for download and use on any Android or iOS Bluetooth low
energy compatible device.
To use the diagnostics application:
• System speed must be zero.
• The application must be connected to PC II.
• The Enable Wireless Control check box must be checked in the PC II User Settings.
• Master Switch and Boom Section switches must be on.
DIAGNOSTIC APPLICATION BEST PRACTICES
• Verify the system speed is zero on the PCII home screen and there are no alarm for the PCII or NCV bus.
• Verify Bluetooth functionality is turned on for the mobile device.
• Go to PCII System Information Page and check the Enable Wireless Control checkbox.
• Turn on all boom switches and master switch using the machine switches.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to connect to devices yet.
OUTSIDE OF THE MACHINE CAB
• Exit the cab and walk to the back of the boom until you can see PCII.
• Enter the mobile diagnostics app and wait for the device with the matching Wireless ID to be detected. Select
that device.
• When prompted, enter the Hardware Serial Number as the passcode. This should only require entry the first
time the mobile deice is paired to PCII.
• Turn the product pump On and Off using the pump icon on the app.
