CHAPTER 3 SYSTEM CALIBRATION
INITIAL START UP AND CALIBRATION WIZARD
The calibration wizard must be completed the first time that the Hawkeye
®
system is powered up on the ISOBUS
network or if the default system settings are reset. The calibration wizard allows the operator to quickly configure
the required Hawkeye
®
system and nozzle control valves detected by the Hawkeye
®
Product Controller II ECU.
Review the following sections for assistance with completing the calibration wizard for the Hawkeye
®
nozzle
control system.
NOTE: Refer to the UT Operation Manual for other necessary setup or calibration required before operating
the Hawkeye
®
nozzle control system or features.
TRANSFERRING UT’S
When multiple UT’s are detected on the system, a Transfer UT softkey will appear. Use this button to transfer the
PCII working set to an alternate UT at any point before, during, or after calibration.
If the PCII working set is not present on the desired display, check the other display and press the Transfer UT
softkey to transfer the PCII working set.
If more than one UT is detected and the Transfer UT softkey is not pressed, the PCII working set will automatically
load to the first UT to come online after the power cycle.
If the Transfer UT softkey is pressed, the PCII working set will automatically load to the last UT selected prior to a
power cycle unless the system needs to be recalibrated or the UT was not detected by the PC II for over two
minutes.
