9. Use the tip of a small screwdriver to disconnect the platen cover tabs and then remove the cover.
Re-installation
1. Before you re-install the flatbed unit on top of the machine, insert the wide flat cable through the
ferrite plate.
• It is very difficult to thread this flat cable through the plate after setting the flatbed unit on top
of the machine.
