Use a dedicated Cleaning Applicator to spread the grease smoothly on the top
portion of the rod (cover about the top third of the circumference of the rod).
Move the carriage to the left and right by hand in order to smooth the grease. Then
move the carriage slowly over 2 seconds within the carriage designated sliding
range.
Do this for more than two round trips.
IMPORTANT! When moving the carriage, do not enter the area of the maintenance unit.
