Bow cleats
The two cleats on the bow can be used during anchoring,
towing and mooring operations.
Bow lifting points
The lifting points are primarily used for davit / crane lifting
and launching. They are considered to be load bearing and
can also be used for springs etc, if required.
Anchor warp stowage
The rope reel on the bow, houses 82 metres of 12mm
Nylon superbraid line. The anchor warp is attached to the
reel by a weak link so in the event of the line running freely
the weak link should break and the rope part from the reel.
Red flare and knife stowage
Two red flares are located in the stowage under the anchor
warp. These are separate to the six white flares stowed
under the crew seats, so that in the event of a capsize the
distress flares are still accessible in the bow. A knife is also
located here in order to allow easy access when the boat is
inverted. There may be slight variations across the fleet for
the stowage layout.

helm seat.
