Functions of the CompTrol Interface expansion module
5.3.7 Status signals
Di󰀨erent status signals are emitted via the digital outputs, depending on the program. They are
emitted via digital outputs X4b-II and X4c-III. You can see which signals are emitted in the rele-
vant program description. You can set which of the two signals is emitted via an output using DIP
switches S2-2, S2-3, or S2-4.
The following status signals are available:
Compressor signal
The compressor signal is emitted as long as the compressor in the outdoor unit is running.
Defrost signal
The defrost signal is emitted as long as the outdoor unit is in defrosting mode.
The operating signal is emitted as long as the indoor unit is switched on.
Heating signal
The heating signal is emitted as long as the indoor unit is in Heating mode.
Temperature limit alarm
The temperature limit alarm is displayed as long as the limit value is exceeded (program 3
only).
Window contact signal
The window contact signal indicates whether connected windows are open.
