CompTrol Interface V4.0.x | Issue 21-05-2021 | 1000932 85
Program 9 – direct frequency request with cascading
15.4.2 Example of set signal ranges without signal overlap
Analog signal type 0-10 V DC
Procedure
1. On the 1st CompTrol Interface, set the correct analog signal type on pin headers S4 and S7.
2. On the 1st CompTrol Interface, set DIP switch S2-3 to OFF and DIP switch S2-4 to OFF.
Signal range A (0 to 5.4 V, without signal overlap) is activated on the 1st CompTrol
Interface.
3. On the 2nd CompTrol Interface, set the identical analog signal type (as on the 1st CompTrol
Interface) on pin headers S4 and S7.
4. On the 2nd CompTrol Interface, set DIP switch S2-3 to ON and DIP switch S2-4 to OFF.
Signal range B (5.4 to 10 V, without signal overlap) is activated on the 2nd CompTrol
Interface.
Analog signal type 0-20 mA
Procedure
1. On the 1st CompTrol Interface, set the correct analog signal type on pin headers S4 and S7.
2. On the 1st CompTrol Interface, set DIP switch S2-3 to OFF and DIP switch S2-4 to OFF.
Signal range A (0 to 10.8 mA, without signal overlap) is activated on the 1st CompTrol
Interface.
Signal range B (10.8 mA to 20 mA, without signal overlap) is activated on the 2nd Comp-
Trol Interface.
15.5 Digital input assignment in program 9
Input Function Description
X2a-D1 Remote ON/OFF
The indoor unit or group of indoor units can be switched on and o󰀨 via
the digital input. Forced mode can be activated with DIP switch S2-5
(see “5.2.2 Remote ON/OFF” on page 26).
X2a-D2
Cooling/Heating
mode
If a signal is applied, the air conditioning unit runs in Cooling mode. If no
signal is applied, the air conditioning unit runs in Heating mode.
X2b-D3
Center/
Center-Remote
When voltage is applied, the CompTrol Interface operates in Center
mode and the wired remote control is disabled. Without voltage, the
CompTrol Interface and the wired remote control operate in Center-Re-
mote mode (see “5.2.4 Center/Center-Remote” on page 26).
X2b-D4
Analog input
evaluation
Analog input X3-S is only evaluated if a signal is applied to X2b-D4 (see
“5.2.1 Evaluating the analog input” on page 25). If no signal is
applied, a setpoint can be specied via the wired remote control.
