13.2.3 Setting functions for program 7 via DIP switch S2
The following table lists the functions for program 7 in brief. See “5 Functions of the CompTrol
Interface expansion module” on page 23 for a detailed description of the functions.
DIP switch Status Function
S2-1
ON
OFF
CompTrol Interface is congured as master in the X/Y remote control bus
CompTrol Interface is congured as slave in the X/Y remote control bus
S2-2
ON
OFF
X4b-II, operating signal; X4c-III, heating signal
X4b-II, compressor signal; X4c-III, defrost signal
S2-3 OFF Inoperative, switch setting is always OFF
S2-4
ON
OFF
Automatic fan speed control
Inoperative
S2-5
ON
OFF

Inoperative
S2-6
ON
OFF
All digital outputs are closed without a signal (NC)
All digital outputs are open without a signal (NO)
S2-7
ON
OFF
Setting determines the value shown on the 7-segment display (see “4.7
7-segment display” on page 21).
S2-8
ON
OFF
Setting determines the value shown on the 7-segment display (see “4.7
7-segment display” on page 21).
Table 45: Functions in program 7
13.2.4 Setting the analog signal type on S4 and S7
The position of the jumpers on pin headers S4 and S7 determines the current analog signal type
(see “4.4.1 Analog input X3” on page 19).
13.3 Analog input
Note
●
This program does not feature signal boundary value monitoring. The analog signal at analog
input X3-S is evaluated across the entire range. An open input is interpreted as a broken wire
and a temperature setpoint of 23 °C is transferred.
●
Analog input X3-S is only evaluated if a signal is applied to digital input X2b-D4 (see “5.1
Functions of analog input X3” on page 23).
