Conguration of the CompTrol Master for program 10 is described in the CompTrol Master Tech-
nical Manual. Program 10 is available with CompTrol Interface V4.0.3 or higher.
16.4 Setting the outdoor unit model via DIP switch S1
16.4.1 For FDC outdoor units: Set DIP switch S1 on the CompTrol Interface
Procedure for FDC outdoor units
The following steps must be performed for all connected CompTrol Interfaces.
1. Set DIP switches S1-1 to S1-4 on the CompTrol Interface (see “Table 68: DIP switch setting
for program 10” on page 91).
2. Set DIP switch SW4-3 on the outdoor unit PCBs of the FDC outdoor units to ON (see other
applicable documents: FDC series Technical Manual).
3. Identify which FDC outdoor units are installed on site (see “Setting the outdoor unit model
with DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8” on page 92).
4. Set the outdoor unit model via DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8 on the CompTrol Interface (see
“Table 70: Setting the outdoor unit model with DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8” on page 92).
