Program 10 – direct frequency request with the CompTrol Master
16.4.2 For SRC outdoor units: Set DIP switch S1 on the CompTrol Interface

Make sure there is always a request during a setpoint/actual value comparison.
Procedure for SRC outdoor units
1. Set DIP switches S1-1 to S1-4 on the CompTrol Interface (see “Table 68: DIP switch setting
for program 10” on page 91).
2. Replace the Thi-A sensor with a 5 kΩ xed resistor (see other applicable documents: Techni-
cal Manual for heat exchanger connection module).
3. Set the temperature setpoint on the wired remote control:
– When using to cool: Set temperature setpoint to 18 °C.
– When using to heat: Set temperature setpoint to 30 °C.
4. Disable the wired remote control to prevent the temperature setpoint from being changed.
– Alternatively: Disable the wired remote control via a signal to digital input X2-D5 of the
CompTrol Master. The CompTrol Interface is set to Center.
5. Identify which SRC outdoor units are installed on site (see “Table 70: Setting the outdoor unit
model with DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8” on page 92).
6. Set the outdoor unit model via DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8 (see “Table 70: Setting the outdoor
unit model with DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8” on page 92).
The table below shows the settings for the outdoor unit model using DIP switches S1-5 to S1-8:
