•TheSamsungPrinterStatuswindowanditscontentsshowninthisuser’sguidemaydifferdependingonthemachine
oroperatingsysteminuse.
•Checktheoperatingsystem(s)thatarecompatiblewithyourmachine.
SamsungPrinterStatusoverview
Ifanerroroccurswhileoperating,youcanchecktheerrorfromtheSamsungPrinterStatus.SamsungPrinterStatusis
installedautomaticallywhenyouinstallthemachinesoftware.
YoucanalsolaunchSamsungPrinterStatusmanually.GotothePrintingPreferences,clicktheBasictab>Printer
Statusbutton.
TheseiconsappearontheWindowstaskbar:
IconMeanDescription
NormalThemachineisinreadymodeandexperiencingnoerrorsorwarnings.
WarningThemachineisinastatewhereasofterrorhasoccurred.Forexample,atonerlowstatus,
whichmayleadtotoneremptystatus.
ErrorThemachinehasatleastoneharderror,suchasoutofpaper,fusererror,etc.Machine
doesnothaveabilitytocometoreadywithoutcustomerintervention.
1TonerLevelYoucanviewtheleveloftonerremainingineachtonercartridge.Themachine
andthenumberoftonercartridge(s)shownintheabovewindowmaydiffer
dependingonthemachineinuse.Somemachinesdonothavethisfeature.
