Normal State
The Normally Open state is for an IntelliRupter fault interrupter at the tie point between
two feeders. The Normally Closed state is for any other IntelliRupter fault interrupter on
the feeder. This parameter is not available when the Loop Restoration mode is disabled.
Protection
Choose the Voltage Trip or Sectionalizing element for triggering the Loop-Restoration
mode. The Voltage Trip element is usually selected. This parameter is only available
when the Closed Normal state and the Loop Restoration mode are enabled.
Good Frequency to Close
When the Yes option is chosen for the Good Frequency to Close mode, a Loop
Restoration Close command will be blocked if the frequency is below the active Under
Frequency Threshold for the congured Under Frequency Minimum Time to Detect
setpoint. When the No setting is chosen for the Good Frequency to Close mode, a Loop
Restoration Close command will not be blocked.
The Yes option is chosen for the Under Frequency Enabled setpoint on the
Setup>Protection>General Profiles>Voltage Frequency Sectionalizing>Frequency
Trip Section screen. The Loop Restoration mode must be manually enabled after the
Low-Frequency condition has cleared.
