MULTI-PORT OPTICAL POWER METER MPM-210H
45 / 59
Optical power value that was measured with the MPM-210H executes calibration
for the fixed wavelength. To do calibration for other wavelengths, refer to
following formula.

is calculated with 1 Order Linear Interpolation after getting data using
“CWAV?” and “CWAVPO?”.
FWOP is the calibrated value of wavelength that was set using “WAV”. We
recommend to set wavelength as 1550nm. Set wavelength of equipment that are
used for calibrating MPM-210H is 1550nm. Optical power of wavelength that is
set using “WAV” does not need to be wavelength calibration.
5.5.7 Measurement range (LEV/LEV?/DLEV/DLEV?)
In case of the measurement mode CONST1, SWEEP1 and FREERUN, the “LEV
or “DLEV command sets the power range and the LEV?or “DLEV?”
command reads out the set power range. The Table 5.5.1 shows the
corresponding power for each range. The Upper Power Limit is always 2dB
greater than the optical power value of the chosen range. However, the
measurement performance of larger power than the following power for each
Range is out of warranty.
