13-5 REPLACING THE TOUCH PANEL AND TOUCH PANEL BOARD
● This work should be performed by site maintenance personnel or other
qualied professionals. Work performed by non-technical personnel can cause
a severe accident such as an electric shock.
● Before starting work, be sure to turn the power off. Working without turning the
power off can cause an electric shock, short circuit or re.
● Be careful not to damage the cables. Damaged cables may cause an electric
shock, short circuit or re.
● Perform work with the control panel open. If the control panel closes under its
own weight, it may catch hands or ngers, resulting in injury.
● When opening/closing or attaching/removing doors or other parts, be careful
that your hands or ngers do not get caught in anything.
● If all afxed fasteners (screws, nuts, and washers) are removed, parts will fall
off and cause accidents. Ensure that parts are rmly supported when removing
afxed fasteners.
● Be careful in handling glass/plastic parts. If such parts are exposed to
excessive loads or impact, they might become damaged, resulting in fragments
or cracks that could cause accidental injury.
● When fastening plastic parts, be careful not to tighten screws and nuts
excessively. Failure to observe this may damage the parts and cause injury due
to fragments resulting from damage.
● When turning the server machine′s main power switch OFF during operating hours,
ensure that there are no players using the connected cabinets before doing so.
Once the main power switch is turned OFF, network transmissions are no longer
possible.
Furthermore, start the server machine before powering up each cabinet. If the
server machine is started afterward, the in-store network may not operate correctly.
● After replacement, adjust the touch panel. If the panel is not appropriately
responsive, it could lead to unnecessary trouble with players.
