1. Disassembly and assembly
A. Sensors and switches
(1) Power switch
(2) Main power switch
(3) Front door open/close detector
1) Remove the front cabinet band, and remove the front cabinet.
2) Remove the toner bottle. (See “(1) Toner bottle unit” in “[Toner
hopper and toner bottle section]”)
3) Remove the toner hopper unit. (See “(2) Toner hopper unit” in
“[Toner hopper and toner bottle section]
4) Remove the developing unit. (See “(1) Developing unit” in the
“[Developer tank section]”)
5) Remove the process unit. (See “A-(1) Process unit” in the
“[OPC drum section]”)
6) Raise the process DV cover diagonally, and remove the front
right cover.
7) Disconnect the connector, and remove the power switch.
* When installing, be careful of the connector connecting posi-
tion and the installing direction. Also be careful not to break
the SW pawl.
8) Disconnect the connector, and remove the main power switch
unit.
