6.5 Parallel control terminals
In parallel to each standard control terminal (’CT’/’CI’), one parallel control terminal can
be connected.
6.5.1 General features/Restrictions
The parallel operation terminal simulates (mirrors) the standard control terminal it is
connected to (same visibility definitions)
Simultaneous operating on parallel control terminal and respective standard control
terminal possible
Allows configuration of more than 16 control terminals per C-Bus
Serial communication (RS232), i.e. stub line connection only (not fail-safe)
connection is supervised on communication failure (on both side)
recommended modem types: Zyxel xxx. Other modems: to be avaluated locally on a
case-by-case basis
6.5.2 Parallel control terminal ’CA’
Based on same hardware as Standard control terminal. Supported control terminal
types: B3Q460/48./560/660/670/680/685/565
From EP/F, all AlgoRex terminal variants and character sets are supported
