7.2 Monitoring

Before you start to configure monitoring of a BM or the CMR in stand-alone mode, read the
following section carefully:
● The principle of monitoring and message configuration is explained below in a brief
overview (Page 96).
● You will find a detailed description of the tabs in the relevant sections.
● A practical Example of a monitoring configuration (Page 114) explains the procedure.
Once you have understood the principle of monitoring and message configuration, you can
create or modify configurations quickly and simply.
In the navigation panel, select the "Monitoring" entry and click on the available tabs:
● Overview
● LOGO! BM
● Message texts
● Signal definitions
● Events
● Actions
● Assignments
You will find a brief explanation of the tasks involved on the individual tabs in the following
section "Principle of monitoring and message configuration".
You will find a detailed description in the individual sections describing the tabs.
