Differences Between the S5-95U and the S5-95F S5-95F
16.5 Programmer Functions and Error Diagnostics
16.5.1 Programmer Functions
On the S5-95F, the programmer functions are restricted in failsafe mode. An overview of
permissible programmer functions can be found in Table 14-7.
16.5.2 Error Diagnostics
• Additional system event DB (DB254)
Errors are flagged in the system event DB (see section 15.3).
You can read and display the system event DB with the COM 95F software.
• OB37 is invoked prior to an S5-95F error response.
16.6 Battery Failure
A battery must be installed for failsafe mode (see section 2.5.4).
If no battery has been inserted, or if the battery is too weak, the S5-95F calls OB34. Seventy-two
hours after failure of the battery or failure to install a battery, the S5-95F goes to STOP.
