Regarding ①: CPU status information
The following table shows the CPU status information that can be retrieved via the display.

Color and icons for the status data
Orange
• STOP
• STOP - firmware update
• Connection established between CPU and display.
Protection level configured.
• At least one interrupt is active in the CPU.
• No SIMATIC Memory Card inserted in the CPU.
• The serial number to which a know-how-protected block is bound does not
match the serial number of the CPU or the SIMATIC Memory Card.
• No user program loaded.
Force job is active in the CPU.
F-capability activated. Safety operation active (for fail-safe CPUs)
The symbol is grayed out when safety mode is deactivated.
Fail-safe CPU (for fail-safe CPUs).
