Overheating if ventilation clearances are too small
Insufficient ventilation clearances result in overheating and therefore in more failures and a
shortened life of the component.
Maintain 50 mm ventilation clearances above and below the component.

Characteristics of the CUA31/CUA32
You can connect Power Modules in blocksize format via DRIVE‑CLiQ to the D4x5 Control
Units using the CUA31/CUA32 adapter modules.
The CUA32 adapter module also has an additional encoder interface for an HTL, TTL, or SSI
encoder.
