Bit 7 Replacement tools in the submagazine
"1" signal: The tool selection searches for a replacement tool if no active tool was found in
the assigned magazine.
"0" signal: No replacement tools are searched for.
Bit 6 Additional submagazine assigned
"1" signal: A further, chained magazine is assigned to the magazine. The chained magazine
can be both an active and a background magazine.
"0" signal: No further, chained magazine is assigned to the magazine.
Bit 4 Tool buffers assigned to magazine
"1" signal: If no active tool was found in the magazine, the tool selection searches for an
active tool in the tool buffer (for definition of local tool buffers see MD m+75 to
MD m+77).
"0" signal: The tool buffer is not searched.
Bit 3 Magazine is a turret
"1" signal: The magazine is a turret.
Note: A turret must always be an active magazine (bit 2=1).
"0" signal: For magazines which are not turrets.
Bit 2 Magazine is an active magazine
"1" signal: The magazine is an active magazine. Active magazines are turrets (in the case of
turning machines) or magazines from where the tools can be inserted directly into
the spindle (in the case of milling machines).
"0" signal: The magazine is a background magazine.
