5 Configuring 01.91
5.8 FB 128 Transfer
Signal descriptions
ST Start
SB Load spindle
If this parameter has a high signal, functions that are relevant for loading the spindle
are carried out. These functions include the transfer of D numbers from the reference
list to the R parameters R 101 to R 109 as well as the transfer of the identification
bits 1, 2 and 3 to the R parameter R 100 which is transferred to the target position.
During transfer from the buffer to the spindle, this signal must be assigned "1".
Important: For providing the D No. the block requires a runtime of approx. 4 to 5
PLC cycles. Only if no read disable is present (ESP = 0) and/or the function is
terminated (VG-B = 1), the D No. are transferred to the R parameters.
SE Unload spindle
If the status of this parameter is high, the relevant functions for unloading the spindle
are carried out, e.g. DB status word (DBZW)+2/bit 11 (tool has already been used).
WG-T Change tool size before entry in target location
During a tool change of asymmetrical tools between magazines with dual grippers
(background mag. background mag. or background mag. active magazine) the
tools are turned by 180 degrees around their vertical axes. To make sure that the
tool size entered in the magazine table corresponds to the actual area occupied by
the tool after the data transfer, the number of half locations occupied to the left and
right of the tool adapter must be exchanged when entering in the target area and the
assignment of the adjacent locations updated.
RES Reserve magazine location:
Only active for data transfer from magazine to the tool buffer and vice versa.
Reserve magazine location:
During transfer of a tool from a magazine location to a tool buffer, bit 5 "Tool location
reserved in tool buffer" is set in DB 152 of the source tool.
Enable magazine location:
If a tool is transferred from the tool buffer to a magazine location not equal to the old
location, the reserved magazine location is enabled by erasing bit 5 in DB 152 of the
old location. If the target location is identical with the old location, this bit is
overwritten with the tool data of the source tool.
Caution: If the setting of parameter "RES" differs from the transfers described
above in one transfer direction, error message 16 is output at the end of the block
function. This error, however, should be considered more of a ready message, since
all the required functions have been carried out correctly - if no other error has
occurred.
RFEL Clear bit 6 in DB 153 "Reserved for application"
Bit 6 in DB 153 "Tool reserved for application" of the source tool is cleared at a "1"
signal. The use of this parameter is only intended for machines with several
independent spindles and/or turrets or with mixed configurations which are assigned
to the same background magazine (which is linked via machine data). In machines
with different configurations, this parameter must always have a "1" signal.
