Pickup Logic and
Tripping Logic
The pickup signals of the individual phases (or the ground) and of the stages are linked
in such a way that both the phase information and the stage which has picked up are
output (Table 2-6).
Also for the tripping signals the element is indicated which has initiated the tripping. If
the device has the option to trip single-pole, and this option has been activated, the
pole which has been tripped is also indicated during single-pole tripping (refer also to
Subsection 2.20.1 “Tripping Logic of the Entire Device”).
