The ULTRAMAT 23 may be taken out of operation for the following reasons:
• Repair
• New location of use
• Scrapping
12.1 Repair or changing of location
If the ULTRAMAT 23 is shut down for repair or for changing the location of use, proceed as
follows:
Rack unit
1. Make sure that gas is no longer owing through the analyzer. If external pumps are present,
switch all of them o.
2. Purge the sample gas path with air or nitrogen.
3. Switch the analyzer o.
4. Disconnect the power plug.
5. Disconnect all hose connections from the rear of the analyzer.
With pipe versions, unscrew all pipes.
Bench-top unit
1. Make sure that gas is no longer owing through the analyzer. If external pumps are present,
switch all of them o.
2. Purge the sample gas path with air or nitrogen.
3. Switch the analyzer o.
4. Disconnect the power plug.
5. Empty the condensation trap (see section Emptying the condensation trap (Page 171)).
6. Disconnect the supply hose from the condensation trap.
7. Disconnect all hose connections from the rear of the analyzer.
12.2 Scrapping the analyzer
If the ULTRAMAT 23 is to be scrapped, take it of operation as follows:
