9.5.1 Questions regarding the Sunny Island
The Sunny Island does not switch off even though you have opened the load-break switch of the
BatFuse?
The Sunny Island may still be supplied from the AC side.
•
Switch off all AC sources and disconnect them from the Sunny Island.
The Sunny Island does not switch to silent mode?
Another function might have a higher priority than silent mode, e.g. equalization charge or full charge.

Ensure that undamaged CAT5e cables
are used for communication and that the
cables are plugged in correctly.

Ensure that the configuration of the Sunny
Island Charger with the DIL switches is
correct.

Ensure that the communication interfaces
are correctly inserted in the Sunny Island.
