Instead of changing a value by using the keys and
, with many menu items you can also press the OK key,
select a new value from the list, and confirm such value by
again pressing the OK key.
Active menu items are color-marked.
Although most settings for TV operation are made, you can also make some
further settings via the menu.
5.5 Parental Lock
In the sub-menu Parental Lock you can lock access to certain menus by using a
PIN (e.g. for protection of your settings) or block selection of certain channels by
using a PIN.
Access the sub-menu Parental Lock as follows:
1. Press the MENU key.
2. Select the menu System Setup.
3. Select Parental Lock and confirm by pressing OK.
After entry of password, you may
− set if access to the sub-menus is protected by password,
by selecting the Menu Lock and selecting Off or On by using the keys
or ;
− set if certain channels are to be locked by a PIN,
by selecting PIN and selecting Off or On by using the keys or ;
or
− change the password:
1. Select the field New Password.
2. Enter a new password.
3. Go to the field Confirm Password.
4. Again enter the new password.
