CHECK
AND
REPLACEMENT
In
order
to
obtain
the
best
performance
from
this
unit
and
make
full
use
of
its
capabilities,
and
to
extend
the
life
of
the
unit
and
tapes,
it
is
recommended
that
the
following
periodic
checks
and
maintenance
be
performed.
*
The
following
must
be
done
after
every
repair
regardless
of
how
many
hours
the
user
has
operated
the
machine.

Press
a
chamois
cloth
(Jig

which
has
been
dipped
in
cleaning
fluid

the
rotating
drum
assembly,
then
do
the
cleaning
by
slowly
rotating
the
rotating
head
disk
by
hand.
(Never
try
to
clean
by
using
the
motor
to
tum
it.)

Never
try
to
clean
by
moving
the
chamois
cloth
at
a
vertical
angle
to
the
head
tip.
There
is
a
very
great
danger
of
damaging
the
head
tip
if
this
is
done.
