Parameter Meaning and notes
BeforePingFod_QfactorThr
Threshold for before ping QFOD. If Qfactor is very low, we suspect FO and do not
continue with ping to protect the device and power source. The presence of such FO can
cause a large current peak during digital ping. QFOD is triggered if the measured Qf is
below half of the threshold value. QFOD is also triggered if the measured Qf is below the
threshold value while the measured Qf pulse period is below
WBC_Qi_BeforePingFod_PeriodDelta threshold.
BeforePingFod_PeriodDelta
If the Qfactor pulse period is too low (resonance frequency is too high), we suspect FO on
the TX coil. Impacts usage of BeforePingFod_QfactorThr threshold.
VinDrop_AbsoluteThr
The used threshold (absolute/relative) depends on the VinDrop_ThrSelection parameter.
The VIN drop is detected if this threshold is reached. The value is in mV.
If the threshold is reached, the VIN DROP LIMITER is activated. The active limiter causes
the positive CEP to be ignored.
0 = feature disabled.
VinDrop_RelativeThr
The used threshold (absolute/relative) depends on the VinDrop_ThrSelection parameter.
For USB Type-C®, the threshold is set as negotiated VIN - VinDrop_RelativeThr (in mV).
If the threshold is reached, the VIN DROP LIMITER is activated. The active limiter causes
the positive CEP to be ignored.
VinDrop_ThrSelection
Vin drop threshold selection.
0 = OFF
1 = Absolute
2 = Relative
OverCurrent_Thr
Threshold for input current in mA.
If the threshold is reached, the OVER CURRENT LIMITER is activated, causing positive
CEPs to be ignored.
0 = feature disabled.
Note: Notice that Input current differ from bridge current, which is the one reported in GUI
main page.
StaticOvp_Threshold
Static OVP estimates VRECT voltage of the power receiver to protect it from overvoltage.
When the set threshold is reached, STATIC OVP LIMITER is activated, causing all CEPs
to be ignored.
StaticOvp_Hysteresis Threshold to end OVP limitation.
StaticOvp_LossCorrection Static OVP tuning.
DynamicOvp_Threshold
Dynamic OVP predicts a significant rise of VRECT voltage of the power receiver to protect
the device from overvoltage. When the set threshold is reached, DYNAMIC OVP LIMITER
is activated, causing all CEPs to be ignored.
DynamicOvp_RingVTargetRatio Changes the Ring voltage weight in Dynamic OVP computation.
DynamicOvp_BridgeIRescale Changes the Bridge current weight in Dynamic OVP computation.
SYS_NtcLowTempThr
Refers to temperature measured by external NTC. When the temperature drops below the
set threshold, the protection is released. The value is in °C.
SYS_NtcHighTempThr
Refers to temperature measured by external NTC. When the temperature exceeds the set
threshold, power transfer is stopped and cannot be resumed until the temperature drops.
When triggered, the red LED is turned ON. The value is in °C.
PwrSrc_AvailablePwrSupply
Logical OR of enabled power source types. 0x0F = enable all.
0x08 – enable barrel jack/ fixed VIN supply
0x01 – enable USB-BC and USB PD
PwrSrc_PreferredType
Preferred power supply type. If the power source supports several protocols, this decides
which one is used.
(1)
0x01–USB
SYS_ChipLowTempThr
Chip core temperature. When the temperature drops below the set threshold, the
protection is released. The value is in °C.
