MANAGING GEOFENCING
NOTE : Geofencing only works when you are using the MAESTRO app.
Geofencing establishes a boundary of 1.2 mi radius around the home. If you activate geofencing, the MAESTRO app will
geolocate your mobile devices (with the “Use this mobile device” option activated) to determine if someone is inside the geo-
fence boundary. The home status will change accordingly, and your MAESTRO system will automatically adjust the setpoint
temperature of your thermostats (see “Changing statuses or activities” on page 22).
TIP : Deactivate geofencing to maintain your home status at “I am home” even when your mobile devices are outside
the boundary. This will ensure that your mother-in-law and children don’t get cold while you’re out for a romantic dinner.
The following status changes can occur when using geofencing:
IF THE HOME STATUS IS AT… AND… THE HOME STATUS SWITCHES TO…
I am home All mobile devices leave the geofence I am away
I am away
At least one of the mobile devices
enters the geofence
I am home
I am on vacation
At least one of the mobile devices

NOTE : “Standby” is unaffected by geofencing.
