3. Refer to Figure 5-21. Press the manual activation switch.
Observe the ambient light fixture (at the perimeter of the ceiling
canopy of the Harmony suspension system) and verify that the
light turns on and off.
4. Select “Ambient Light Mode, Auto” to configure the ambient light
to turn off when any system lightheads are turned on, and turn on
when all system lightheads are turned off.
• When using the “Auto” configuration and all system
lightheads are off, the ambient light remains on until the
control center is placed in Standby.
• When using the “Auto” configuration, but the ambient light
was turned on or off manually, the automatic feature resets
once the light fixture undergoes one full on/off cycle.
Important: If the ambient light fixture LED fails, refer light engine
replacement to STERIS service, or to a STERIS-trained service
technician.

using 12 Vdc power from
lighthead 24 Vdc power
supply.
• Halogen ambient light fixture

ceiling.
