Depending on the application, environmental conditions and driving style, the follo-
wing procedures must be carried out at the intervals specified above, or if necessary
more frequently.
Before carrying out the procedures
Check for error codes using diagnostic software
Reset the service interval using diagnostic software
Axles
Drain and change ge
arbox oil
Replace the gearbox breather filters
Chassis bodywork and fittings
Check and lubricate the automatic tow coupling (if fitted)
Check and lubricate all doors as well as latches and hinges of the covers
Undercarriag

Checking the condition of the wheels and tyres
Carry out brake test for the parking brake
Lubricate t
he top and bottom steering swivel bearings
Lubricate
the steering linkage bearings
Check steering linkage for wear
Check the brake fluid level. Top up if necessary
Check the brake system for damage, corrosion and leaks
Check front and rear brake linings for wear. Replace if necessary
Check the shock absorbers for damage. Replace if necessary
Electrical/Electronic
Check that the battery and battery cable are properly positioned and in good condi-
tion
Check that the electrical connections and cables are properly positioned and in good
condition
Clean the control unit cooling fans and air ducts
