Opening the battery cover
Open the battery cover.
WARNING
Risk of crushing!
When lifting and closing, limbs could become
trapped.
– Do not reach between covers and chassis.
NOTE
Before opening the battery cover, the engine
cover must be closed.
NOTE
On the cab version with sliding doors, the
sliding doors must be closed.
Open the battery cover.
– To do this, pull the locking lever (1) towards
the rear of the truck until the locking lever
audibly unlocks (clicks).
Lift the battery cover.
– To do this, grasp the battery cover with both
hands and pull the battery cover upwards -
do not let go of the battery cover.
