Permissible consumables
WARNING
Consumables can be dangerous!
– Observe the safety regulations for handling these
materials; refer to the section entitled "Safety reg-
ulations for handling consumables".
– Note the safety datasheets provided by the manu-
facturer of the consumables in question.
– The consumables permitted for truck opera-
tion can be found in the maintenance data
table.
LPG
Approved for the VW engine:

LPG with a propane concentration of max.
95%
●
LPG with a butane concentration of max.
80% and a propane concentration of at
least 20%
The LPG quality must comply with the require-
ments of
DIN 51622
as a minimum. In the
best case scenario, the LPG complies with the
requirements of
EN 589
(automotive gas).
Condition of the LPG cylinders
DANGER
Risk of explosion!
LPG cylinders must not protrude beyond the edges
of the truck body, because collisions with objects or
other trucks could cause them to be torn off.
– Only use LPG cylinders that have been approved
for operation of the LPG system.
