10.5.7.2 Top up hydraulic oil
The hydraulic oil tank is initially filled with:
 oil specified according to DEXRON II D:
 TOTAL – Fluide ATX.
Corresponding information referring to the filled-in hydraulic oil can
be found on the sticker next to the filler neck.
Approved hydraulic oils:
 Hydraulic oils according to DEXRON II D:
 ARAL – ATF 22,
 BP – Autran DX II,
 ESSO – ATF D2,
 FUCHS – Titan ATF 3000,
 SHELL – Donax TA,
 TOTAL – Fluide ATX.
 Hydraulic oils according to General Motor Type A, Suffix A:
 ARAL – Gear lubricant oil SGF 84,
 BP – Autran GM-MP,
 ESSO / MOBIL – ATF 200,
 FUCHS – Titan ATF 10,
 SHELL – Donax TM,
 TOTAL – Fluide CC (formerly Chemfol HY 32).
 Biodegradable hydraulic oils:
 ARAL – Forbex SE 46
 BP – Biohyd SE-S 46,
 ESSO / MOBIL – Mobil EAL Hydraulic Oil 46,
 FUCHS – Plantosyn 3268,
 SHELL – Naturelle HF-E 46,
 TOTAL – Biohydran SE 46.
Hydraulic oils are only mixable within specification groups. Never
mix hydraulic oils of different specification groups.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the hydraulic system due to improper
hydraulic oil!
 Only use hydraulic oils approved by the manufacturer.
 Only mix mineral oil hydraulic fluids after consultation with the
manufacturer and respective approval.
 Never mix mineral and bio oil hydraulic fluids.
