10.9.3 Check tension of elevator conveyor
Check the tension of the elevator conveyor every day.
In case of cone-shaped conveyor duct
The elevator conveyor is sufficiently
tightened if the distance (1) between
the conveyor duct floor and the
pushers of the elevator conveyor is
between 14 – 20 mm. Observe the
fact that the joint (2) of the elevator
conveyor must be on the tight side at
the time of checking!

In case of straight conveyor duct
The elevator conveyor is sufficiently
tightened if the elevator conveyor is
within the X range in the observation
slit. Observe the fact that the joint of
the elevator conveyor must be on the
tight side at the time of checking!
The observation slit is located in the
duct side wall. The observation slit can
be seen from the driver seat if the
cutter arm is sufficiently lifted.
